Mosaic plant in my pond in PA

Carlisle, PA(Zone 6b)

I just bought a very nice-sized mosaic plant & put it in my pond here in PA. Now I know it is tropical but can it be wintered over in an aquarium in a greenhouse with a minimum temperature of 55-60 degrees F in winter?

Buttoneer the Mosaic Plant has to be overwintered at a minimum water temperature of 70F. 50 to 60F will kill it. :(

Thanks Lilypon, maybe if I put an aquarium heater in the aquarium & set it to that temperature, maybe it would help.

It should work. :) The plant should also be moved in as soon as the outdoor water temps drop just below 70F.

Thanks, Lilypon I guess I will have to start monitoring the pond water. Right now, our outside temps at night are in the mid-60's but pond water stays warmer. I think it is safe to let it in the pond the full month of August.

It should be but the way this summer is going??? ;)
