And this one is just a few miles from me. :~)
A big welcome to Minihostalover
Before you know it, we'll have enough for a Southwestern Ohio Roundup!
Welcome again minihostalover, you've found the best site on the web.
Your neighbor to the South,
Melissa
Welvome another Ohioan!
It's always great to see more Ohioans at DG! I see new subscriber whimsy4me is from Ohio, too, in Columbus.
Welcome!
Welcome minihostalover. You are at the right place for good friends, sharing, and learning. Can't wait to meet and learn more about you in the forums.
welcomde from new york
It sounds like the Cincinnati area membership is growing quickly! Welcome, minihostalover, from a newbie in Anderson Twp., too!
And welcome to you too Tobasco!!
Welcome Minihostalover and Tabasco :)
A big Iowa welcome to you both. You'll love it here!
Welcome to you both...and here is another SW Ohioan...! I'm NW of Dayton...near the Indiana border. This is a great garden site!
Hello from Toledo! I'm a transplant from Cincinnati (many years ago). I love perennials and my pond. I'm always looking for more blooming perennials for late in the year - like now when everything is starting to look pretty tired.
Hi, ehamilton - welcome to DG! :)
Thanks for the welcome, gardenwife. Our climates aren't too far apart, although I'm sure you're often a tad bit warmer and maybe a little wetter than we are up north. We seem to miss most of the big storms as they skip over this end of Lake Erie.
Hi, again, Minihostalovr, Melissa, gardenwife and everybody...
Yes, we certainly have a nice group of Ohio area DG gardeners. We are loving the beautiful September weather here--wonderful time to be putting in perennials! There's so much to learn about midwestern gardening having moved from zone 9 CA this year and finding gardening quite different. It's great to be in such nice (and knowledgeable!) company.
And, of course, we're looking forward to the Cincinnati Fall Flower Show http://www.cincyflowershow.com/fallshow/ at Coney Island at the end of the month. They say they will have lots of perennials (and scarecrows) on sale there! Happy Gardening, t.
