The pictures don't do it justice. It's SO pretty in person.

Your entire garden is beautiful, datdog, and I love the purple spiked plant - is that perennial salvia??? Your Rosemond is lovely, oh so many blossoms. My Rosemond is young and has only bloomed once, but the plant, even without blossoms, is stately and elegant and stands out from the rest...

Your Rosamond looks great. I hope you didn't have any damage during your wet period. Sounded horrible out your way.

Glad you're ok, I saw your city on tv and it looked so tragic. We have had such unusual weather for the past few years.

Forgot to say, Rosamond is gorgeous.

Thanks everyone. Yes, my town was the one on the news. We were very lucky. No flood damage of any kind. We recd. 12 inches of rain in 18 hours. I read in the paper today that a total of 14 damns broke. Many homes lost everything. It's heart breaking.

** I've been out of town and missed the storm **

Thanks everyone. I wish I had a picture of it from last fall. I planted it under a tree and it grew toward the light. Needless to say, it wasn't straight. When I wintered it over, I dropped it in a big paint bucket and made it stand up straight. The result is better then I could have ever expected. Many thanks as well to Susie. This is a cutting you sent me last spring.

It is very pretty! I like the tree shape of it.
