Congratulations Gretchen! The shape suprises me, I didnt expect that shape from that cross. I guess growing brugs is like a box of chocolates huh? :o)

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I was kind of surprised too, here's what I got, but Paintedladys was the best so far of this cross.

Lots of suaveolens you are getting there Gretchen. I can see the bees just love them. The anthers are so available to them. I like how big they are, like a luncheon plate.

So tell me, after 1 bee visit, is the pollen all gone?

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Gretchen, you need to look at the extention office, and see if someone can set up a Beehive to collect honey, can you imagine what Brug Honey would taste like? I would buy some!

Well, now I'm wondering is somehow this one was mis-labeled. I have been so meticulous in my record keeping, but I know that accidents can happen. This just can't be tiG's seed. We'll have to see what it turns out to be.

So sorry if this did end up being a mixup on my end...Yours is gorgeous, TiG!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Gretchen, did you see the one Kris posted? mine isn't a keeper, just showing the shape here. But the one Kris grew is gorgeous.

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Oh yes I did -- I posted some on that thread. They are gorgeous! Mine just doesn't have the shape to be of that cross. Its definitely a suave...just wish I knew which one now. Sorry tiG! I still have some others of yours, but they are in the shade and while very tall -- 6' -- still no Y...
