I'm so excited, I finally got a prized Y on my Datura inoxia. The leaves are beautiful and fuzzy and now I see buds! Y'all are wonderful mentors!

And here are some of my brug seedlings... I know I'm way too far behind to get blooms this season- I'm just thrilled that I got them sprouted.

Good for you! I never thought about daturas having to Y also. Your brug babies look great.

Very nice Susanne! I just had my first brug blooms this year and it is a great feeling. At first they lasted a few days but now I'm lucky to get one to last all day in this heat.
I have never sprouted seedlings so you are one up on me. Jenny

Thanks Kell and Jenny! Those brug seeds were tricky, but that just made me more determined, lol. I'm so excited about seeing blooms on my cuttings soon, and hopefully on these seedlings next year.

Jenny, did you see the thread in tropicals on the cryptanthus? I figure it got buried too fast. http://davesgarden.com/t/442673/

No, I'll go check that one out. Thanks! Jenny

Looks like you have a couple nice little Castor beans going there,be sure to put them in the ground soon, they don't like to have the taproot cramped.

I didnt know that root, thank you. I have 3 seedlings and I planted one in the ground this weekend at the house I'm housesitting the summer but the other ones, I might just have to keep potting up, since I only really container garden. Will it just be stunted or will it be harmed?

They just wont get to be 15footers,LOL! you will be fine!
