Oh, these are gorgeous. I've always like calendula, but lately I've mostly grown the Touch or Red or Touch of Buff lately. I'd like to give this one a try!

They are kind of fun!! Bright flourescant orange and very prolific bloomers...flowers last a long time also...the first ones started blooming about a month ago and are just first starting to fade.

Oh, that's quite a show! I'll bet they'd be beautiful planted with blue midget bachelor buttons!

Boy, Weezie, I like your taste there ; that is the blue and orange. Love that combination. I have planted orange impatiens and blue lobelia in several spots around the yard this year.

I love your orange calendula , tyke. My only complaint about calendula is that they self seed so abundantly and not always where you want em.

Can't you just pull 'em up by their little tootsies and move 'em?

Sometimes that would be quite a number of them too, I just hate pulling out anything with such a gorgeous bloom, too softhearted I think.

Yes, I'm the same way. I can't bear to pull the violas up. I usually spend several hours every year transplanting them to cell packs to move later. Guess we're a couple old softies!
