Blue salvia and butterfly bush (lantana)

Oh, I call buddleia butterfly bush! I guess that's why Latin names are important. I have some May Night salvia, but all I got on it this year was moths. Weather has been weird.

If you had buddleia, b-flies would be flocking over your way.

I can never get anything to use the smaller plants-salvia, lantana, beebalm, etc, when there's a huge butterfly bush right next to them.

The blue on that salvia is gorgeous and so vivid! What kind is it?

I have lots of buddleia, and you are right they love it. There is a discussion as the the name of the blue salvia. It is the color of "blue on black", but does not have the black on the stems.
