We got home from Kentucky last night around 7. It was hard to leave, but good to get home. For anyone who didn't see the post in the General Discussion forum, our DD had a lovely baby boy last Saturday and as it was going to rain all week, we took off on Tuesday and were there for a couple of quick days. I got to help Melissa out a little and hold Jacob alot!
Things here did not go as well as I had hoped they might. There was an electrical storm and we lost power and most of the lights in the barn blew up. Stan said it is very dark in there with only about 4 of 20 or so lights now working. I really wish sometime to go away and have whoever is doing chores call and say, hey, things are going really well here, why don't you guys stay an extra day. Wouldn't that be interesting??

I'm going to go out and look at the weed patches, er, gardens for a bit. We had 4 1/2 inches of rain in the 4 days we were gone and it looks like everything has decided it's jungle time!
