I do like this plant. I had one and I guess it was left in the move ....

Navarre (NW FL), FL(Zone 8b)

I love this plant. I'm going to get one in the near future. I just need to decide if I need more than one (lol).

"Left" in the move... Hummm, (I won't even comment.)
Oh
Mz, guess what has 2 little pups coming up along side it? Remember the nursery hopping we did a little while back. The alocasia odora that you wanted. We'll they're both yours. As soon as they are big enough to divide from the mother plant I'll split them up and let you know.

Foley, AL

bug they were 8 dollars and the NOCP spring sale someone had a ton I got mine there and I just love it...

$8.00? Where's or what's the NOCP spring sale. I've never heard of it. Sounds like my type of thing.

Hugo, check here: http://www.buried-treasure.net/form_orderrequest.html Buried Treasures is a member here, and I thought he mentioned that he has some. You can find his posts on my Adenium thread: http://davesgarden.com/t/444355/

Yep,

I have some for the first and what will probably be the last time. Neat plant, but so obscure, it's generated the least interest of anything I've carried. It's been really surprising. I have small medium and large ones.

Valrico, FL(Zone 9b)

Hugo,

I replied to your email, but it was returned. I sent one through DG as well.

They have those here at the nurseries, everything from little seedlings to big plants.

Navarre (NW FL), FL(Zone 8b)

I got your e-mail BT. I'll reply in a bit.

Valrico, FL(Zone 9b)

Calalily,

What kind of prices do they have on them?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

From $3 up, depending on size and how fancy the nursery is.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

They have them at the Lowe's by me. Some are in tiny tumbler looking pots being sold as bonzai and others are in 4" pots.

Valrico, FL(Zone 9b)

That sounds about right. Ours run from 3-15, so it sounds like we priced them about right. I've just never had an item get such little response. I guess it's just to obscure.

You need to jazz it up BurriedT! Grab their attention!
I didn't want one till I saw a big one blooming at my neighbor's.

Navarre (NW FL), FL(Zone 8b)

I wish there was a way to do virtual plant shows online. You would really grab some attention if you could do one of those. These things are awesome.

Valrico, FL(Zone 9b)

The first picture I show is a full one. They don't see the ugly until they scroll down.

I think this is a great picture of it.

BT, tell me about Jatropha Lasiocarpa, is it hardy in zone 8b/9a?

Valrico, FL(Zone 9b)

weeds, it's actually Jatropha podagrica. I goofed when I listed it, and haven't fixed it yet.

9a would be the limit on it. I don't think I'd even go down to 8b, unless you brought it in for the winter.

It can be done well in pots though. Your zone is deceptive though, because when it does get that cool, it's not cool for long.

I wouldn't put it in the ground though, in case of an especially harsh winter.

Anyone looking for these plants should really look at what BT has to offer. Wow. I'm hooked on these. Now I just need to get some. I e-mailed you BT.

Here are some pictures of what BT has to offer. Here are some prices too. I hope you don't mind me quoting you BT. Just let me know and I'll remove it.

"The small ones are $3.00 each, the mediums are $6.50, and the large are
$10.00. I'll also bill you seperately for actual cost of shipping. Here
are
pictures of the 3 sizes"
