I just got in an order from GK Exotics, P. 'Fledermouse', aurantia, mucronata, and penduliflora; very nice plants (as usual) from them.
Fledermouse and aurantia I have info on, and to a lesser extent on penduliflora, but hardly nothing on mucronata.
Anyone ever grown mucronata, or penduliflora either?
New Passifloras
I'm not familiar with any of those.
Edited to say: Nevermind, found the link: http://www.gkexoticplants.com/Passiflora.htm

Hi Clare, I guess I'll have to experiment and see if I can find a place that it's happy. I have them (all the passiflora I own) in large pots, so it's pretty easy to move them around when they aren't happy, except for the ones that have a really good grip on anything nearby of course.
I got a P. hahnii from the same place this spring, and I have yet to find anywhere that it seems content. I think it may just be too hot for it here.
Anyway, wish me luck:-)
Indigoez, I just spent the last half hour drooling over their Passifloras. They have a very nice selection. I had them bookmarked before, but I forgot about them. If I had room, I'd order the Passiflora serrato-digitata, Passiflora sprucei, Passiflora cincinnata, and the Passiflora helleri. Maybe I will order them next year.
Only the P. Mollissima has been fussy, not wanting to bloom during the hot weather. The others have been easy and nondemanding. I grow most of mine in containers too, but I just put in a whole row of them in the ground with a few trellises and arches. I just hope they don't take over the space.
Good luck and keep us posted!

I have the following, not including the four new ones mentioned in the original post
P. violacea form #3 (excellent grower and hardy)
P. perusii (Slooow starter, but fast once it got going)
P. citrina (grows & flowers well)
P. sanguineolenta (got this last fall, and it just sat there with one spindly stem with 2 leaves all winter and I nearly threw it out, but it came back to life in late Feb.)
P. 'Kewensis' (Excellent. Grew through the winter on my covered and unheated patio)
P. mixta (Eh. No flowers, not very much growth now that it's hot... hope for improvement this fall when it gets cooler
P. 'Coral Glow' (See P. mixta)
P. alata (Lots of growth, no flowers yet, but I've only had it 8 months or so)
P. 'Byron Beauty' (95% sure that's what it is) (Recent purchase. Lots of flowers, nice shiny foliage)
P. murucuja (Nice little plant, only had one flush of flowers in May though. Doesnt seem to like the heat; when it got hot, new leaves started coming out kinda deformed and then stopped growing at all. I noticed a few new shoots today though:-)
P. 'Sunburst' (See p. murucuja, only it flowered more before ceasing activities)
P. stanleyii (worse than p. murucuja or 'Sunburst'. Defoliated completely and ceased growing with the arrival of heat, but it was a new one and still small. A few sparse leaves are reappearing finally)
P. serrato-digitata (Beautiful. Just got it in March and it's huge. Only prob. seems to be that the new leaves get burned on the tips by the sun. Might be nice to live somewhere cooler;)
P. sublanceolata (another March purchase. Pretty pink flowers, slow grower though, with strange furry and sticky leaves.
P. nephrodes (just got this one last month, a little new growth, not much else)
P. "Star of Clevedon' (One of the first ones I got. Huge and no problems whatsoever, even bloomed a few times last winter)
P. 'Lady Margaret' (Another of the first ones I got. Nearly died last winter, but is back strong.)
P. hahnii (Got it March, it was doing fine until, yes, it got hot. Mostly leafless now, but the vine is still green, so I have hope)
P. unknown (Growing with the violacea on the front of my house, a bit of iron deficiency sometimes. Blue & white flowers)
P. unknown (a recent purchase. Purple flower, purple filaments, light green leaves. Seems to be doing ok)
I think that about covers it:-)
Oh, and P. mollissima too. Again, not a heat lover:-/

What a wonderful list. Thanks for all the tips. Those will be valuable when a Dave's Garden member does a search for their Passiflora and has questions. I'm glad to know that about P. serrato-digitata. Do you like the fragrance of that one? What are your most pleasantly fragrant ones so far?
Has P. Mollissima ever bloomed for you? Mine set quite a few buds during a two-week period of June Gloom that we had, then it proceeded to drop all of them when the sun and heat returned. I grew mine from seed that someone in Brazil sent to me two years ago.
Let us know how your new Passifloras look when they arrive. I'd love to hear about their progress. Also, post pictures if you can. You have lots of interesting Passifloras, and I'd love to see your blooms.
Here's P. Lady Margaret today:
Clare, I have yet to see blooms from mollissima, but it was a late fall buy last year so the plant is still not that large... Also no flowers on serrato-digitata yet.
As for fragrances, I like the smell of P. violacea and of my 'Byron Beauty'.
The plants I started the post in regard to actually arrived Friday, and they look good, just like my previous buys from GK Exotics.
A few pics of recent blooms are below, starting with P. murucuja.

Awesome pictures, Indigoez. You have quite a lovely collection. Thanks for posting those. Maybe we will both get P. Mollissima flowers when the weather cools off in the fall. I hope so!
Monterey, those flowers are really cool!
Nothing going on . I am getting worried.
Neat Passifloras, Indigoez! Congratulations on your new Passifloras. I look forward to seeing pictures of them when they bloom.
I just ordered a P. aurantia myself, I can't wait for it to arrive! Good luck with yours.
With your name Indigoez I expected to see P.Indigo Dream on your list. Has anyone grown it and what was it like? p.s. Thank you for posting such an informative thread Indigoez.
I can't quit drooling! I love them all!!!!.....
Thanks Lilypon and Moonlighting:-)
I'll post some updated pics of the new ones tomorrow... the growth rate on penduliflora is quite amazing.
Growth finally. It's hot and I transplanted it to a 5gal , but it's moving YEA!!!!
Indigoez, Monterey,
Please see this link if you guys are still interested in trading. You can see what I have rooted already. There will be more to come. I look forward to trading with you guys.

Nice pics Indigo.
Hey ! Indigoez I got a pic of actina! I tried to use the flash on a close-up, but it was way too bright. I put the flash down to .6 of normal, put on macro and zoomed in until I got the same look of being 5 in. away with out the over- powering light. I was 2+ft away. Check out the result. I have igniton on actinia!
Looking good, Monterey:-) I guess it was just waiting until settling in before starting to grow again.
Nice pic too btw. My camera (sony dsc-p10) has more limited settings than yours does though, I have low/normal/high setting for the flash, but I can usually get the shot with a bit of experimenting hehe.
That's a great find Monterey. It's rare for me to find anything around here that I don't already have, or anything unsual... must be nice to have all those nurseries in California:-)
