She was a sweet dog and very protective. She kept pushing us away from strangers and cars. She lived 11 years, but was taken by cancer. She had a happy life, especially after we moved to the country. She was afraid of water until , when our pond had become covered with Giant Salvia ($500.00 for Sonar AS), she tried to run across the pond. She found out she could swim from about 10 feet out. No more fear of water.
