My first brug ever

Fountain, FL(Zone 8a)

And I have Sugar to thank. Been watching..it was labled as unnamed, white she thought. Yesterday I was thinking yellow, but by early evening it had opened more and looked white. Later (after dark) I checked and it was full open and pink....peachy pink? Very pretty. Took this last night.

Surprised Bill this morning when I got up at 6:30 to take pics. LOL...6:30am is not in my vocabulary. These next shots may look a bit "foggy" as the camera took exception to going from AC to already hot and muggy outside.

Ginger, it's beautiful. Last year was my first year and I was very excited too. This year I have 12! They are not blooming yet but they have lots of buds.
Does anyone know which bruggie this is?

Panhandle, FL(Zone 8a)

I thought you were up a tad early!

Fountain, FL(Zone 8a)

Boy Connie you're fast on the keyboard! I hadn't even posted all the pics yet. LOL

Panhandle, FL(Zone 8a)

Ha...nice to be fast at something.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Congratulations Ginger!! It looks lovely!

Fountain, FL(Zone 8a)

Just checked on it...the color seems even deeper now. It's not as full open as it was. Will it open wider again? Can't wait for the next 5 buds to bloom!

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Very pretty, Ginger!! Congrats...

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

yes, it should open more. I find they close up when need water or when sun too hot or when too cold! It is so pretty. Congrats!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Ginger, think it "might" be a little hot???/ Was 84 here this morning at 6am.

Fountain, FL(Zone 8a)

Quite possibly. LOL Right now we are getting a sprinkle :-))) Hope it doesn't come a gully wash...gentle for long enough so I don't have to tote the hose around.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Very pretty. Mine are suffering in the heat right now. I think I need a mister...for the hose, not a guy. Already have one of those.

84! That's a heat wave here! Remind to never go to Florida except in the dead of winter....

Alpharetta, GA

Beautiful Mom!! Really pretty color!

Fountain, FL(Zone 8a)

Went out about 9:30 last night in the rain to look....it had opened up again and smelled so pretty. This morning it is again starting to close. And bloom #2 is peeking through. :-)))

Lewiston, CA(Zone 7b)

Congrats! Very pretty, Someone will know what she is.
I'm still awaiting my "first ever" bloom. I'm sure that just cements the addiction more solid, seeing your first bloom.
Enjoy! Bj
