moonflowers in pot?

Montgomery, AL(Zone 8b)

I was wondering if we can plant moonflowers in a pot?

Are you talking datura? Or moonflower vine (ipomoea alba)? Either way - yes you can! I've got datura in pots this year, getting huge and putting out lots of blooms. And while I didn't plant any this year, I've grown moonflower vine in pots in the past - with great success.

PV - i'm in PA - what do you do with them in the winter?

Brooklyn, NY(Zone 7b)

handhelpers, I treat them as annuals. This is my first year with the datura; they've grown so fast (from seed) that I don't see any reason to overwinter them. The moonflower vine I usually start early and just let it go until frost gets them - hoping that there are seeds before then.
