Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Looking good....... I wish some of mine would bloom. (pouting)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Me too Peggy. Nice pink. How will we ever keep them straight when we all have yards full of them in the future.....hey, I plan to have a yard full. LOL! I'm glad you have something to be joyful over Ada. This hasn't been a great spring/summer for you.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Sherry, yes, we didn't get any rain today. Thank goodness. They were calling for big storms but they stalled in the mountains.

Shirley, this is one of the good ones I have. Most of them look pitiful from wind, too much rain and the boiling sun when it's not raining.

That one is lovely. I wish the weather would straighten up a bit for you!!!!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Alice, we've had two days without rain so that's a plus. LOL

Darn nice looking brug. Wish it could have just a little more pink in it with more length to the tendrils or maybe just turn orange. I WANT ORANGE.

Nice Ada. I'm sorry, I'm tired and just fooling around here. LOL!

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Very pretty Ada

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Shirley, I know that feeling. LOL

Thanks, Donna.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Ada, it is very pretty. How is it doing in the heat?

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Very pretty! I can't wait to see the next flush!

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Looking good Ada!!! Hope you are feeling better and I sure do hope the weather clears up for you!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I hate to say this, but don't be surprised to see a first year brug look totally different the next year. I had a pale yellow with long tendrils last year that I liked because of the tendrils. This year, it is orange. It's in the same pot, so I know it didn't get mixed up. Still has the same tag hanging in it. So...my point is, maybe we toss our babies too quickly.

Sorry about the picture quality. I have to get new batteries today.

WOWIE, Shirley, I LOVE that color, one of the flashiest orange blossoms I've every seen, just beautiful!! I love that bright orange...

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Shirley has to change the name into Orange Fizz lol

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Shirley, I really like the color on that one. It sure has changed from last year.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Maybe I could change it to Mimosa....is that spelled right? At least the OJ in one makes the Champagne look more orange.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Mimosa is a pretty name.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Both the pink and the orange are very nice!!!!
now,I want to see it in one bloom!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Ooooooooo, like Mango Crush!!!

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

I think Mimosa is perfect!

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

But Mimosa is the name of another genus of plants. The name wouldn't be excepted by the ICRA ...

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

It would be accepted, I think, if you add something else to the name, like Mimosa Dream or something like that. I'll have to look that up.

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)

Okay, ICRA rules

A name is not established if after January 1996 its cultivar epithet (name) contains the latin or common name of the genus to which it is assigned.

A name is not established if after January 1959 its cultivar epithet is the name of a genus or the common or vernacular name of a species or other denomination class IF use of such epithets might lead to confusion. Names such as Dianthus 'Victoria', Lilium 'Erica', Magnolia 'Daphne', and Rhododendron 'Calypso' would all be acceptable since, although the epithets are names of genera or species within their genus, they are unlikely to cause confusion.

So, yes, you could name it Mimosa.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

That doesn't make sense to me...
"the epithets are names of genera or species within their genus"...

They aren't in the same genus. I spose the key words are "IF" it doesn't cause confusion.
