This is a great plant to attract butterflies. It returns every year and is an absolute "no care" plant.

Neat looking plant and definitely my kind - no care. I'm all gung ho in the spring and through June maybe and then it's just too hot when I am at home. Is it hardy in zone 7?

Hmm, I think it is zone 8. Perhaps you have a spot that is protected. I forgot to mention that hummers love it too.

I have one in a container. Thought I might put it under the carport, cover with hay or whatever, this winter. Attracts hummers everyday and seems worth trying again (add 2 more). I'm in zone 7 and its probably too risky to plant in the ground. Your leaves are much greener than mine (they lean towards a bronze color).
