Nice surprise isn't it!!! When We were in Hawaii, We made lei's with them, I love the scent, We get freeze here in the 20's, wonder if it would grow?

Indeed - what a way to be introcduced to the plant! I think it would work for you up there, but as a container plant. Bring it inside for the winter - it's deciduous, so it'll drop its leaves anyway - then take it back outside after last frost.

I spent most of my teens in Anaheim, had a house in La Habra, and many years in Carbon Canyon, Chino Hills before moving here, I had a neighbor who grew a couple. The smell is something else isn't it!

Hi Krussadams, I'm in the process of updating the plumeria section of the PlantFiles, and you have a very lovely yellow plumeria there, but I'm afraid it is not a 'Edi Moragne.' The cultivar 'Edi Moragne' has a much different appearance, starting with the petal shape. Your lovely pic should be moved here: http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/101644/index.html Here is a picture of the true 'Edi Moragne' below. It belongs to William Gilbert. You can see that the petals are very wide, and there is a great deal of overlap.
