how hard is a shrimp plant to raise?

Decatur, IN(Zone 6a)

I was at the "Heaven on Earth" greenhouse(LOL)...really is the name, and came across this very interesting looking plant....the flowers really look like shrimp....I did not get it yet, kinda wanted to the particulars...thanks,

I have a shrimp plant which a dear friend sent my this spring. I have it planted in the garden where it gets morning sun. It is growing well and has bloomed all spring and summer. For me, it has been low maintenance.

I have a yellow one that we brought back from Florida 2 years ago. I have wintered it over in the basement in a south facing window, and it is still doing great. I would love to find some other colors, but can't find any around here!!
