Wildform Salmon (?)

Katy, TX(Zone 9a)

This one has finally bloomed for me! These blooms are about 48 hrs. old. The tag said "wildform salmon". Can anyone tell me what a "wildform" is? I love the color, but the plant isn't as sturdy as my Isabella. The insects love the leaves as well! Does it look similar to "versi peach"?

This is a closeup from the day before. The color was a little lighter.

Good question....I've never heard of wildform salmon. Generally a wildform is one that has been collected from the wild and propagated.

True,could be a knock off,tagged to sell.
It is a great looker,to bad it is a bug magnet, have you sprayed anything?

I've treated it with Bayer 3-in-1, but I haven't sprayed it with anything. It is so hot here that I water it at least twice a day.
I picked another catepillar off of a leaf today... These leaves are kinda fuzzy feeling. Here is a picture of when the flowers first opened. They were very yellow at first then appeared whitish, then peach.

My guess is that you have VP. Either that or someone grew a seed that produced this brug. Since you don't know for sure what it is, I wouldn't call it VP or Wildform Salmon. If it were mine, I would probably just call it unknown until someone who could ID it saw it in person. Maybe Monika could ID it from your pictures.
