Today I finished my three week holliday with a visit to the greenhouses of Hendrik Gommer in Holland. I was driven there by Ludger. It was a one hour drive each way. Hendrik Gommer had an amazing collection of brugs. He is short on help and I was tempted to stay on as a volunteer but I must return to New York City tomorrow. My visit with Ludger capped a holliday which allowed me to visit London, Cairo and Cyprus. I was in Cyprus when the Greeks won the World Football Cup (soccer to many of you). There was much joy in the streets. Now I must return to my brugs and tell them how much I missed them. I'll post pictures when I return home. Love from BrugValley, Padre

Hi Padre.....I've missed you! I am so happy that you've been enjoying your trip! I think of you everytime I pass by UConn Treasure....she is the largest brug in the garden. I'm so excited to see blooms!
It's good to "hear" from you Padre. I look forward to seeing your photographs when you return home. Have a safe trip.
