I was thinking Athene maybe?
Anyone know this one?
Sometimes called"Yellow wings"
Thanks Eclipse! I was doing more research last night and saw the LSP posted one called 'Sunset'. Looked awfully like it too! This is my first tropical and so I know very little about them, but am starting to realize that like many genus (roses, daylilies, lilies, etc) that a lot of cultivars are *very* similiar and nearly impossible to id from a single photo. I do appreciate you taking the time to post.

P.S. Those navy blue columbine seeds you traded me last year for SASE had EXCELLENT germination. I sent seedlings out to tons of family and friends this year. Your "babies" are all over Kansas now! :-D
Thats great....guess what?? I have seeds of the double dark maroon one this year....almost looks black when blooming. :-)
Yep...it's not Sunset. Is Athene and Yellow Wings the same cultivar?
Well if you find yourself with more of them seeds than you know what to do with - I'll just fix up a SASE and get it right out to ya!! Let me know. I'm a sucker for a beautiful columbine!!
Monterey..........(Kyle dialing 911) I feel a little faint after seeing your flower............Very beautiful.
Oh my goodness...monterey that's .....that's...that's....so rich and velvety!!! Wow! I had no idea hibiscus came in colors like that!
I didn't like it, but now maybe, it is different. It does catch the eye!
Yep! dats yellow wings..
