My mystery pink brug

Raleigh, NC(Zone 7b)

Here's a picture of the first brug I ever got - it started out as a tiny cutting 4 years ago. Its first year it grew into a monster and was such an easy plant to grow with such huge flowers I was hooked. This brug was alleged to be 'Frosty Pink' but I really don't think it is because the color is not right and the tendrils look too long. I think it's some sort of 'mutt' multi-hybrid. Does anyone recognize this as being a named cultivar or shall it forever remain anonymous?

P.S. If any newbies out there want a cutting, LMK and I will be glad to send you one for *free* - I have to chop off part of the plant anyway since it's shading out some of my cannas.

It is very beautiful, feminine, sweet color!!! I'd love a cutting Tom, maybe this fall because I'm going out of town and would hate for anything to happen to it while I'm away. I really like it!!!!

That is very pretty Tom! If you really need to give it a hair cut, could I pay postage for a cutting or two? I would love to have a cutting of your pretty pink one. Thanks Tom, should I email you?

art_n_garden - sure, just e-mail me. I think you can send an e-mail to me from my member page... if that doesn't work just post back to this thread to let me know and I will just post my e-mail address here. ( I do have spam blocker, y'all :P )

I don't think it is a problem posting an email address on here as long as you don't put it in the first post of a thread that people who are not members can read. The rest of us are pretty good eggs. LOL!

OK, e-mail me at hofferbert@mindspring.com. If you're not in my address book your e-mail will get bounced to the 'suspect' e-mail folder, but as long as you use a recognizable subject line I will be able to retrieve it and send you a reply.
