Looks like it might be Gabriel.... ??

This must be a cousin! Wailea Beach is its name. Are these some new variety?

I'm not one of those officinados but I think it's really pretty!

Strange but true colors. I love em. I gotta get me one of those Wailea Beach. I went to Hawaii on my honeymoon. I have 9 hibiscus plants now. What's one more or less?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

MzM, I bought that same hibiscus from a nursery here. She told me the name, but I've forgotten it. I thought it was the oddest color.

Eclipse.. nope, looked at Gabriel and the colors are wrong.. but thanks so much for trying.

If you ever go back to that nursery, Cala, please ask them. This isn't my plant but a favor I'm doing for BugFreak. It is really a lovely, large bloom.

I've been watching this thread. Thanks Trish for looking into this for me. I really appreciate it.

Monterey,
That Wailea Beach is something else. I love it.

Calalily is this your picture?I found this somewhere and it had the same name you use. If so what passi is it? Thanks. We are trying to identify a plant by Tropicman.

Yes that's my photo. It's either Blue Bouquet or Purple Haze. I can't remember. My computer is in the shop or I could look in my files. I have the files labeled.

I found your photo and it looked like T-Man's. We were trying to figure out which passi it was. This is his.

I had a webphoto page with all my passis listed on it but without my favorites, I can't find it. I have a terrible memory! It was a free photo album thingie, but they sold pictures or something like that cause people would email and ask if the plant was for sale. I thought I had it on my member page, but of course I don't!

Citrus Heights, CA(Zone 9b)

Wherever it was, and I will find it and I will let you know, see ya!

Mz,
Could it be 'Pond scum'? I recall seeing this one somewhere else by that name. Oh, BTW your cutting of this hibiscus is ready and rooted. Let me know when you're ready to come pick up your hibiscus baby and the Alocasia odora pups.

Crestview, FL(Zone 7b)

BugFreak.. I looked at different photos of Pond Scum and the coloration pattern is not close enough for it to be a "for sure" ID

I tried e-mailing you last week but it kept bouncing back... Donna is coming over today and we are going to hit the nurseries up here and go out in the cypress swamps tomorrow birding..

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Sounds like such fun!
