Allergic to cut grass?!?

Now, a person being allergic to the pollen and dust that cut grass kicks up, sure! :) I buy that, 100%.

But I just read in a couple places that Mini Schnauzers can have allergic skin reactions to fresh cut grass?!? LOL Maybe that's why Allie stuffs her nose down into large piles of grass clippings.... :)

Does anybody have a dog that's allergic to fresh cut grass? What do you do? How can you tell?

:) I'm sure it's possible, and I'm sure it's real, but it just sounds really funny to me .
