I purchased this from Hawaii, and wow! The roots are already starting to grow and new palms are slowly starting to come out. I am growing it in Michigan I know this is easy during summer here but during the winter I hope I can keep my apartment humid enough for this and my other tropical plants.

That's awesome, did you buy it already geriminated?

Yup, I have two more coming, one for me and another for a friend.

I have a large tree (About 35 Feet) which was grown from a seedling given to me by my gardener. The tree is loaded with coconuts and I'd like to start more plants, but haven't been able to tell which side is up for planting. Any advice would be appreciated.

You can plant it any direction and the seed will figure it out- on it's side is easiest for the seed, though.
