Hey Root Remember these?

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

Root Dr. sent me these Blood Bananas back in the fall last year when he was getting his beds ready for winter. Well these little fellas came in a small brown box couldnt have weighed more than a couple of pounds, along with the African Mask EE.
BUT look at them know.....they are in about a 35 to 40 gallon pot and I think I should have gone bigger......
A big Thanks Rooty Tooty......we may even have bananas this year............LOL
:O)

I am trying to ID this Banana and at first thought it was the Blood Banana but I don't think it is. It may be this one....
Pink Banana - Musa velutina 'Pinkie'

Very Cold Hardy. Beautiful pink, fuzzy non-edible bananas form on top of the 5-6 ft stalks.

I have never had it to fruit so I don't know what those look like...any ideas out there....

Okay, well, how about a couple of not so full grown hoyas that are potted up and growing well for a couple of your (not to be obscene) 6 inchers. Can we talk?
