Pug In???

This message just popped up: Need to check plug in or something on that line. I checked cancel.It did it again less than a minute later & I check cancel again.Should I have checked run? What is Plug In?? Why did it pop up-does this mean there is something wrong or something on my computer that should not be there?Just want to know if I should check or run it or keep saying cancel?I ran spybot & everything checked out ok.
