Versi Peach ????

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

This is one I planted in the ground and this is the first bloom. I though it was kinda strange colored. It is a really pretty golden carmel sorta color. Have any of yall had them color out like this? Maybe it's not a Versi Peach?
This bloom is about 24 hours old...... :o)

WW, she loesnt look like a versicolor to me. versicolor has a clear trumpet shaped, pending flower. The narrow part of the corolla tube is very long and the calyx in comparism rather short.

Sure wish I knew what this one was. I kinda suspected it was not V Peach, hummmmm, It is tagged Versi Peach and I didn't put down who sent it. This was back in the days I was newer at this and didn't think I would need that info. So do you have any idea what it could be.
I really like the color and am anxious to see how it colors in the next day or so. It has a couple of more buds on it so it will be intresting to see if they are the same color....
I will keep yall posted...

Even if you dont find out, which one it is, it is a pretty flower.
And if it also turns out to be a heavy bloomer, you have a fine brug!

Thanks Monika, I think so to and I will have to see how it holds up in this heat. Since it is in the ground it will be a keeper for quite awhile anyway so I will have time to evaluate it. :o)

This is a little dark but for now it is the best I can get. Will try again tomorrow if it's not raining again. It is long and pretty slender so would that be about right Root?

Another thing I noticed about this plant is the bud on it looks like my Cypress Garden before it opens. Long Skinny and with a pointed end. Does that mean they are in the same family?
