I had a huge mite problem on this brug about 6 weeks ago. I was not watchful and they went nuts. I had to cut it way back. I thought I was going to lose it. It has recovered! LOL

Here is a Cream sickle from another younger tree. My son helped me last night measure it. I am hoping it will drop its skirt and then it will be longer!

I bought oyster shells crushed at the feed store when I was buying the alfalfa pellets. A huge bag. like 50 lbs. I was wondering if they washed them because of the salt from the ocean water. They feed them to chikens for their egg shell's hardness. Do you think I should spread them around?

I love her. That was one of my biggest ones I brought in last winter. It died all the way back. I was sure I would not see any blooms this year but it has two buds on it. I think this will always be my favorite one.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Your gonna love it Peggy!,
Kell soak them!

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Doc I loved it last year it was full of blooms. Just didn't think I would see any this year. I am starting to get buds on all kinds of them. Just no seedlings.:(

This is one of my favorite brugs. Always one of the first to bloom for me and it keeps blooming continuousy throughout the summer and Fall. And the aroma is wonderful in the evening and first thing in the morning.

It always had great fragrance for me and the blooms were huge, but I just couldn't get any color out of it.

I was shocked at how HEAVY the flower is, the petals are so thick, and it's so big, it feels like it weighs a ton! Mine had 2 flowers the first time, and has more buds growing. I can't wait to see a bunch of flowers at once, yours is gorgeous, Kell!
