My best friend made up this recipe-- and I never thought I'd like it, but I am absolutely addicted to it! I make it at least once a week and eat the leftovers all week. She says the saltiness of the couscous mixed with the sweetness of peas makes it addicting.
Mmmm, I just have to share it!
1 box instant cous cous (on the aisle with hamburger helper etc)
1/2 bag frozen peas
1/4 jar of Ragu Light Parmesan Alfredo
Cook the couscous following instructions on box (about 6 min). Heat peas and alfredo sauce separately and when the couscous is done, combine all three.
If you need protein, I've started adding 1/2 pound browned ground beef in with it. It's so good and costs about 6 bucks!
