Finally, my first brug bloom!

Woodville, TX(Zone 8a)

I have been watching and babying this brug and it is now paying off. I have an open bloom and more on the way. Don't know the name, but it smells delightful and is so pretty. Jenny

If heat makes the blooms darker then it ought to get very dark here.

Thanks root. Now if I can get my other 6 blooming I'll be in business. This brug would have more blooms but one whole branch was snapped off during a storm last week. I am trying to root it (cut into two pieces). Anyway that branch had buds on it. So sad.

Sure is pretty. I love the rippling in the first pics. Once they start flowering they usually continue to put on a great show.

I am so so so enjoying this! If I go out once a day to look at the bloom, I go out 50 times. Even have my partner giving me reports when he comes in. We had an Abbott and Costello moment yesterday evening as I was trying to take pics. Somehow the video came on and I didn't know how to get it off. It was hilarious viewing it this morning. Jenny
