Hiouchi, CA(Zone 8b)

the tag from the nursery said it was Versi-peach
the leaves are so much darker then my other brugs
but the flower doesn't open all the way ?
& it doesn't look like the picts i see of Versi-peach ??
so what is it?
& what is wrong that the flowers are not opening completely ?

Looks like a droppy Frosty to me.

LOL that was supposed to be droopy! But I say droopy only because Frosty is a nodder, does not hang straight down like yours is doing. It is pretty Dick, just not a versi peach.

It sure doesn't look like a Versi Peach. I'm with Kell on this. It looks like Frosty.

I'm not sure about Frosty because there are so many different variations out there, but definitely not Versi. Peach. I think the flowers look fine. The foliage looks great too. Wish mine would produce dark leaves like those.

the leaf color on this brug is a lot darker then all the others
here is a pict showing the contrast

I'd say it is a healthy and strong one. I love good dark leaves on brugs.

This is definitely not Versi Peach. This has strong suaveolens genes in it's background. Versi Peach is a different shaped leaf and flower.
