I have a moonglow pear and a comice pear. I noticed that they didnt bloom this year. Anyone have an answer for this?
I understood that moonglow was self fruitful. Is this right

If your trees are the right age, Then most likely frost damage. It is also possible that late summer conditions last year stressed the trees to the pointthat they didn't set fruiting buds. Moonglow is not self fertile, but the Comice should provide the second tree needed. If any event pollination doesn't come into play until both trees blossom.
