L'Amour Amour

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

I love this brug. It finally has 2 blooms, and I love they way they nod rather than hanging straight down. I didn't notice any aroma though. Does it have a fragrance?

Here's another view.

This one was taken yesterday and shows the color a little better. I need to fertilize all my brugs and give them a little Epsom Salts, because the foliage has really turned yellow from all the rain.

Oh my Sylvia, she is so big and dark at your house. She must love the heat. So is she more true pink or does she have that orange base to her?

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

She has a little bit of orange to her. I wouldn't call her a true pink, but she is really pretty. These blooms are much bigger than the one that bloomed right after Tracey sent her. I'm still waiting to find a brug that is really a true pink. Is there such a thing?

Nice. My buds should start peeking through the calyx in a day or two.

I believe Rubirosa is true pink. It is the best looking pink I have ever seen. I really would love to see it in person!

Thank Tracey for this one. I can't wait to see her loaded with blooms.

We will just have to find you a true pink, maybe Rosabelle will be pink for you, it is for me a soft girlie pink. NH Aurea Pink is bright pink, don't remember it having orangey undertones. What about First Day, did you grow that one last year? It is pink here, but I don't know what you climate will do. Are you looking for a certain color for a bed? If that is what you are doing, I wonder try In. Pink. E-mail me we will try to figure something out.

I am still patiently waiting for buds on mine. I have been battling spider mites all season. I think I finally have them under control. I can't wait to see some blooms.
