Hey echoes have you looked at the Weather Channel? We've got some mean looking clouds rolling in again...hail, severe winds and tornadoes have been sighted...the tornadoes here have been further north. They are predicting your area will be under warnings tomorrow. I might have to pull my plants in soon...the trees are moving quite a bit now. :S
Severe Weather Warning
Thanks, I haven't heard anything. They sure weren't talking that way at suppertime news. Will have to tuck some pots away tomorrow. You take care.
Did you guys survive the night?
Linda
It's still coming for us.
It skirted around here...wind picked up and then just died. Radar showed funnel clouds north of Rosetown. I didn't have to haul plants in!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
It's just raining here. Probably all night, cause I watered my garden this morning and left the hose going all night in one flower bed. No storm though. Hope it doesn't stay for six weeks this time.
lol...the summer that never was! On the plus side hot and hotter is forecasted for this weekend (not that I like really hot but my poor plumie might appreciate it). ;)
It really stinks leaving that water going...you are going to have a really good rain for that little mistake!
I did it on purpose. Just real slow, to soak in. Hard to believe it could be dry already after all that rain we've had, but it was and once I start, I can't get it all done during the day.
All is well then. :)
My SIL sent some pix from Edmonton. Wow, what a storm! They didn't have too much damage, water in the basement but it was going down fast. Many others weren't so lucky.
I phoned Lynn ... she was lucky too and missed the worst of it! :)
No pics but my poor brugs have a very, very lacy look now. :(
This is a good write-up on the storm in Edmonton:

Ty :)
You're welcome. Just heard Avonlea also had tennis ball sized hail...a lady golfing there had her windshield shatter.
Amazing pictures Pam, you're really having a stellar summer so far. I sure hope that's it for awhile.
So do we Liz!! Haven't heard about Dad's farm yet but it is very close to the Avonlea District, would be nice change of fortune if it was missed.
This whole year stinks ... but the stems on my brugs aren't broken and we didn't get the really bad stuff so I might have a few blooms yet. :)

Fingers crossed for you Pam.
I went down to check the brugs this morning and found dozens of them blown over. We must have had wind last night. It always surprises me how little damage there is when they go down.
Is it still wet at the coast Liz?
Dry, dry, dry. We are a month ahead with our forest fire season. The interior is in the mid 30s. I can't remember the last time it rained. I lie, it rained the night before all the rain hit Edmonton then blew east.
Quit sharing with us!!! ;) Actually every few weeks would be fine to send a soft long rain our way.
Just started raining here. I don't think we're supposed to have storms though. I think this will pass over soon. Maybe lucky us this time.
How long did it take for the water to subside?
It's gone now, but the rivers and creeks are overflowing. Our heat, with 100% humidity, would feel like home to weeds!
