First night bloom.
My L'Amour
Beautiful, Ada.... I love L'Amour... :)
WOW Ada, that is such a pretty pink. No orange tint at all!
What a sweet lavender pink; I can't wait to see mine bloom.I received my l'amour only three weeks ago, and it has thrived. Today I saw eight tiny budlets from three branches at the top.
Your pictures have me very eager. (Don't you ever sleep?)
L'Amour will bloom here again soon. Did you use a flash when you took this picture? I take night pictures, but use a flashlight. My camera won't take a good flash picture. You are going to enjoy L'Amour. Nice picture Ada.
Pollygardening, yes, I sleep once in awhile. LOL You'll love L'Amour when it blooms.
Shirley, I did use the camera flash. The flashlight was in the bedroom with sleeping DH. He goes to bed with the chickens. LOL
Thanks SD and Kell. Maybe it'll turn darker today.
Ada,
That's a beauty.
Has it stopped raining yet? I sure hope you are enjoying warm temps and sunshine. (But not too warm and not too much sunshine ............... we're never satisfied are we.)
Ada,very pretty,I love the scent on LA.
TC, so far today, we haven't had rain but it is so hot. LOL It's 95 and I feel like I'm melting. LOL
Ada, that is so beautiful. I've never smelled or seen a L'Amour. It looks like I have a real treat to look forward to, so pretty!!
Ada, it is so pretty and I am happy that you have this one. I love the scent on it. I hope that the rain has finally stopped for you. It has for me and now it is so hot that I can hardly stand it. Even my big plants have wilted blooms on them during the day. In the evening they do perk up. I wish you many more blooms soon!
Ada, mine are wilting badly tool, in the heat of the day. I do think it's because of the rain, but i wonder if repotting them would help. I want to put them in the ground, but, I promise, for the last 6 or 7 weeks, it's been too wet. But, the rootings you sent me are growing like weeds, they are 3-4 inches taller than when I potted them, only a few days ago. Amazing!!! Thank you so much, Ada, I'll take photos if it ever quits raining...
Sherry, I'm glad they're growing good for you. My gardens are so muddy, I don't dare go in them yet. LOL
Ada, they are amazing. In fact, after I potted them, I didn't get to really look at them for a couple of days because of the rain and when I did, I thought someone had rearranged the brugs, until I read the labels. I could not believe they had grown that much in such a short time. The rain might be killing your garden, but your cuttings are in excellent condition, oh so healthy, and their growth is unbelievable!!!!! Thank you, so very much!!!
K, now I learned of sneaking up on the brugs with a flashlight ;}
Good going Ada, now get going!
Its beautiful Ada! Take a nice deep sniff for me would ya?
Sure will, Shelley.
Whooooops -- my young "L'Amour, with all the budlets is "Adora" after a close look at the label. Some of the ink is getting very faint; must rectify. I'll need to check the catalog and see what color the blossoms will be.
