Tropicman, you've got to tell me where you get those! Stargazer Lily is one of my all time favorite flowers. I have about 10 of the pink/red kind among many other lilies. I would love to add this yellow ones to my collection.

I wonder if it is the same as "Golden Stargazer".

Thanks, notmartha. I am so jealous.

Tropicman, those are beautiful color. Is the flower the same size as a red/pink Stargazer? I think I am definitely going to get that one.

Hi all......
Those yellow stargazers that tropicman posted are mine! I just became a paid subscriber.
To answer a few questions: yes..they are the same size as the pink stargazer. They smell wonderful.
The first year...last year...they weren't this prolific..but this year...fantastic!
I ordered them from a nursery in Witchita,KS. Will have to ask tropicman the name of it.

Welcome to DG, Marcy_1.

Some lilies you've got there. Thank you all for introducing me to this version of Stargazer. I would get some and show off some of mine pictures when mine bloom next year.

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

Hi Marcy,
Johnson's Nursery didn't carry them this year, sales lady didn't know why they didn't get any,but I only had one comeback and flower, looks like all yours came back, they must like the cooler zones!!
Althou the squirrels eat mine like candy!!!!
Welcome to Daves, you'll enjoy yourself here!!!!

Hi Don......
Can't remember how many i bought..but..think they have mulitplied! I still have about 6 that haven't bloomed yet..but are full of buds! All the lilies have been just beautiful this year..it must be the cooler temps we have had here.

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

Not to mention all the rain too!LOL

New Madison, OH(Zone 5a)

Well yes...we have had bunches of rain! That helps!
All my tropicals are looking great too! But the trees around here look really sad right now. The cicadas really did a job on them! I sure am glad they are gone for another 17 years!

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

Gee, I wish I had neighbors who had lilies so I could do some "midnigh shopping"....

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

Tropic & Marcy (by the way welcome!!) You all need to head over to the brand new Lilies Forum and post some of these pics!!!
