Negative Art

Greenville, SC(Zone 7a)

I have been trying out some pic's in Negative Art recently to put use in next years calendars and I took a quick photo of the front of my pond where I sit often and enjoy the fish and sound of the falls, I took one 'normal' pic and one in 'negative art' form and thought I'd share what it looked like~

Looks kinda mystical... great pic rendering.

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

The second one is nice art.
The First one makes me want to go right in and sit down. That's the one gets my vote for the calendar. And applause for the beautiful yard.

I like the negetive art. Would make wonderful cards and calanders.

Yes it is so pretty. Wish I was sitting there listening to the water and enjoying the fish.

Thank's all!! ( Nice to see you again
lizh & Jim!)
Blooms-with-a-view, Thanks for the compliment on the yard, ~ It's actually just one of my center raised perenial beds that I have the water garden in, The water garden is only 320 gallons so it's not very big, But still great for the fish and other inhabitants, I added a better view so you can get an idea of how it actually is, I have huge beds on both sides and beds behind it.

The negative art reminds me of infared photography. Nice to see you, Iris!

Your pic of the area is sooo inviting too!
I love using these types of programs on my "goofed" pics
( eems I have a lot of those. lol) it has turned some of my out of "focus pics" into keepers.

I put my cam-c on negative art and thats how they come out, Have quite a few different options in that catorgory, But, Tend to like the negative art.
Can definately relate with out of focus shots, I also seem to that constantly! LOL!

Wrong term, sorry about that. I meant infared photography in black & white. Here's examples: http://www.rupertimage.com/AIBINFRARED.HTML

I'll edit my post above so as not to confuse.

GW, It does seem a lot like negative art ( Only in Black & White) Pretty neat photo's on that site, I enjoyed them, Thank's for sharring! I have a Black & White setting on my cam, And an infrared setting For night shot) I'm going to try and use them together and see if I can get the same results as that site had, Probably won't get the same results, But I'm going to try it anyway LOL.
Thank's again for sharing that site/page.
