i just received a rather large plant i order, today in the mail...it is rather wilty....is there anything i can do to make sure it perks up?...it is already in the soil, and we had a nice good rain today....i have found that so many plants love the rain water so i hope that this will make it perk back up...the plant itself has 2 stalks(which i am hoping is actually a Y cutting that was rooted...woohoo!!) and it is over 2 ft tall....ill get pic after it perks back up...lol...cuz it looks so sad..:( and hanging leaves...lol
thanks

Cindy, make sure they are in the shade and out of high winds if you can. They should perk up in a while. Usually when I get something rooted and it is wilted, I will put it in a container of water for a while before planting. They seem to get a quicker drink that way. Good luck with your new brugs. I'm sure you will love them and be ready for more before long.
Forgot to say that if they have big leaves on them, you might want to take them off. Even cutting a third of the leaf off will help them recover easier.

Cindy, you should be fine, and have more rain on the way,it is pulling out of here slowly.I hope you get some blooms soon.
Hi Cindy!!! I'm a newbie and when I received my first brugs, I didn't know to soak them in water for at least an hour prior to planting. All of my plants went into shock, and I did what the people on this list suggested, I put them in total shade, with a low fan and misted them with water. In no time, they were perky again. I'd love to know how yours does. SherryLike
Cindy, I got three a couple of weeks ago and I was very nervous as they lost all their leaves, even the top ones, when I unpacked them. I soaked them first in Superthrive and Schultz's Starter Plus and then put them in the shade for a few days. It took a while , but all three are now showing new life. I thought only one would make it! This is a great time for us zone 5's to transplant. They just want to grow! Good luck!
I read about Superthrive on this forum. Some Walmart and Lowes carry it,but I ordered it over the web.
