Are you sure this is yellow-flowered lambs ear? It looks like Common Mullein (Verbascum thapsus) to me. Here is a link:

Looks like mullien to me, too.

Are you sure it is Stachys citrina. Could it possible maybe Verbascum (bombyciferum ?)... ? If I'm wrong...well I'll try Miraclegrow in my garden also..what an astonishing result. Can I grow such cute little boys with it too..? LOL It is obvious he's proud on the result too.

WOW, I've never seen this plant/weed before, great pics!!! Booper looks great too lol. Think I might have to grow one for show for my kid.

Thanks so much for the help on the name of this strange plant that just appeared last year near my air conditioner. I transplanted it in the front garden bed and it has gone nuts. And I thought it was the miracle grow!! :)
Can't wait to see how tall it gets. Do you think it will come back next year since it's a weed???
Boopers (Andrew) is really proud of his plant. It is actually almost as tall as him now (in only a few days since the pix was taken).

Biennials usually flower the second year and don't come back after that. After this plant flowers, you can collect the seed to have more plants next year.

Mullein forms a pretty rosette of the velvety silver leaves the first year...blooms the second year. Don't be appalled if your lower leaves begin to look awful and die real soon...that is normal. I just remove them as they fade and then take out the whole plant after some seed has set. I usually find a lot of volunteers each year. This plant has a lot of medicinal and other uses...see htop's detail on the plant's page for a lot about that.
Your plant really looks great!
