V.Orange awesome!

RICHMOND, VA(Zone 7b)

From my modest 3 ft plant came this huge bud -- at least 14 inches, hanging over the side of the pot. It bloomed yesterday, and is changing from a coral peach to a coral. It is HUGE, and gorgeous, with a lovely scent.
What a joy!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

One of my favorites, mainly for the scent. I've found that this one carries a little scent all through the day. Congrats on your first bloom on VO.

RICHMOND, VA(Zone 7b)

Thanks, Brugie.
I have a nice bud on Rosemund; I am eager to get a digital camera and some lessons on its use so I can share pictures, too.
Really busy -- two litters of puppies 10days and three weeks;
they would make for some great pictures, too.

Your bloom sounds so great. And so do your puppies! What kind? I can't wait till you get your camera. you will love it!

RICHMOND, VA(Zone 7b)

They are Bichon Frise -- little white fuzzies. Maybe you watched Westminster 3 years ago when J.R. won the show, and clapped his paws? He is their daddy, and lives in Houston.
I'm hoping my blossom lasts tonight because we are celebrating my DOH's 79th b'day with a dinner party -- he is still a firecracker!
Kell, where do you live?

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Those Bichon Frise are the expensive ones......$800+. Neighbor has one, they are adorable!

I have a bud on my VO cutting, has maybe 7 leaves, bud hanging down lower than the pot.

Cassopolis, MI(Zone 5a)

As much as I would like to see photos of the new blooms I am dying to see some pics of your puppies. You must be breeding to sell? Thats a pretty impressive dad they have!!!

RICHMOND, VA(Zone 7b)

Well, actually I'm breeding to keep. If I have a nice show prospect, I keep it to breed and show; the remainder of the litter I sell for pets. It's sort of like adopting a baby -- my pet families come and interview and get on the waiting list for the next available.
When it rains here, I wipe feet and doggies after every outside trip -- at least Ahelms and the other rain weary Brug freiends don't have to dry white fuzzies all day long!
Going out to fertilize with Kaufmann's brew -- you all have created my Brug world.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Pollygardening, I have a Yorkie and a collie/sheperd mix that like to run in an out. I keep them a towel on the back porch just to wipe them down when they return from playing in the mud.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

V. Orange has such a wonderful fragrance. For some it may be too strong but I love it!. It also makes such a pretty canopy.

RICHMOND, VA(Zone 7b)

My V. Orange is still hanging in there! It is the only Brug blossom out on the patio, so the scent is not wafting far. Brugnanny, it has a long way to rate being a canopy! Counting on KAufmann's brew tomake it soar.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

I look every day, if VO begins to form a Y.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Mine has buds with the tendrils beginning to show. Very few buds, but the next flush is starting to appear. Another month and I should have a nice bunch of blooms. Monika, is it warming up there yet?
