I have one big Thungbergia. g cutting to trade It was a sucker at the base of my main vine, so its nice and thick and about 8 feet tall. I find these things take forever to root so I'm always happy to find a nice big rooted sucker down there. Here's a pic of the flowers on the main vine.
I'm looking for tropicals, vines and succulents that can take searing heat/humidity and laugh. Watcha got?
Thunbergia grandiflora to trade!
Forgot - I'm also seeking a double purple datura. "Ballerina Purple"
I would love it! I have rooted cuttings of night blooming cereus, and can send some cuttings(I haven't rooted any this year but they root easily) ov scarlet honeysuckle. LMK Lou
I can trade for a Clematis Neally Mosser, or Gold Fish plant which love heat/humidity to bloom. Wenny
You had this GIGANTIC cutting? Gee, how big does the vine grow Liz? Can one buy this locally? (Bantings, right? LOL)

Uh, actually...yes! Rose Garden Center also has em but they're kind of expensive because they usually only come in large pots (wonder why...?) Mine is two years old and has obviously formed the nefarious plan of taking over that entire corner of the yard and subduing everthing it in to its vinous will. The one at City Park has totally covered and I mean COVERED a telephone pole. Not a vine for the faint of heart. Do you really not have one? Its pretty much evergreen in our climate - gets a bit burnt looking but never dies back. They can be rooted easily but it just takes forever. I have some pots started but it'll prob be 4 more weeks before they really get going. This is a sucker that rooted itself down near the bottom. I would keep it if I had a telephone poll...
Sorry guys and gals, so far I have those things already!
You have mail, sweetie.

Can you say "Pruning Shears"? LOL.
I have several Desert Bird of Paradise-caesalpinia gilliesii seedlings if you are interested. They love heat. LMK

They are also showing a pink and a dwarf pink. I didn't see those before.
Thanks LSP I am going to try and bum a seedling from the neighbor when they're in season - but thanks again for thinking of me!
