Nat's yard pictures are always so beautiful, and that Ambrosia brug is to die for.

I'll post some pictures next week AFTER I weed and trim, roll up the hoses and drag the wagons/ladder/manure tea out of sight...LOL

Just beautiful Nat. Love your garden. What do you feed Ambrosia? I've got to get more sun in my yard.

Knoxville, TN(Zone 7a)

It received a heavy dose of manure and an organic fertilizer when it was planted. And since then, it has received a dose or two of alfalfa tea, and one dose of epson salt/cal-mag.

Nat, your yard is beautiful and Ambrosia is a beautiful Brug. Ah, don't drag everything out of the way. LOL We all know about the hoses laying out, the shovels etc. Isn't it amazing how we try to hide all the things we use nearly daily in our gardening quest.LOL

I have only recently started with the alfalfa pellets. Have you tried mixing them in your soil or do you always use a tea? I mix a 5 gal bucket, then it's too heavy to carry to the plants. I'm assuming it (Ambrosia) is in a pot. How do you overwinter?

Very pretty yard. Lots of nice blooms on that brug.

Linda, I have mixed alfafa in the soil as well as use it in a tea. However, my dogs wanted to roll in it when I used it as a top dressing. So, I am now mainly using it to make tea.

Ambrosia is planted in the ground, is lifted out in late fall, and stored dormantly in my basement. The rootball is in a nursery pot with holes in the side - - which sits inside a mud bucket (some call it a drywall bucket) but allows for the minimal watering it receives through the winter to drain out into the bottom of the bucket.

Gorgeous brug Nat, gorgeous yard!!!

I'm with you on the weeding. I went on strike for a couple of weeks cause DH said I was obsessed with the yard (Can you imagine?) Now we've had rain for over a week and you know what that means!!! The weeds have taken over===arghhh

Wynantskill, NY(Zone 5a)

Beautiful-from another Tennessean. I have a gorgeous brug blooming now myself. I love the pictures of your yard. Congrats on all your hard work!!

Pretty garden, great looking brug.

Thanks everyone!

Brenda, you obsessed? Join the club sister! I have been out of town for the last 3 weekends, so you can imagine how badly I need to weed and trim.

Gee Nat, I almost missed this! She looks so beautiful! Mine must be at least 7' now and just starting to set buds, guess I need to feed her better ;(
