Well EXCUSE me!

Sheesh.
You spend a good 30 minutes cleaning carefully the hummers feeders. You find the perfect location to hang them- another 30 minutes.
You wait and wait for what seems like months. All the while making sure the feeders remain clean.

When the lazy hummers DO decide to show up- They act as though YOU are trespassing on THIER land!
God forbid I bend over to smell "thier" flowers!

BTW thank you HummerNut for that blue flower- it DOES attract hummers!

We had probably 6 birds today. All chirping LOUDLY at me and mum. I mean raising pure heck! They almost wham into you to get to "their" feeders.
God forbid you move one- because that sets them off even more! LOL
They just buzz your head and CHIRP CHIRP CHIRP!
Sounded like a blasted zoo! LOL
I think I have found a nesting site for one pair. Right outside my bedroom window! It's exciting- but man oh man are they MEAN sometimes!
BTW these are Rubies! (well, at least one pair is anyway).

My father has the same problem. He is very brave when he goes out to the feeder, the way the hummers buzz him is scary! He is always really careful not to swat at them. They know that he is an intruder in "their" yard!

My first instinct was that they were HUGE bugs but I've gotten used to ours. Ours aren't quite so aggressive but will chirp at you if you take away the feeder to refill. They come really close and cock their heads at us to look at us closer.

They're such amazing little animals!

Imma start learning how to use a BB Gun, muhahha. Kidding. :-P

They're great little guys- sometimes I worry Tau will try and eat them though- Hummers have no fear!
