I like the white Hedychium coronarium...in fact, all the Hedychiums. Most of the Alpinas are too big for me...but the greenii is great, not so invasive.
hmmm let me see.. I love the globbas although not crazy how prolific they are with their little seeds. Curcumas are my favorite for their huge foliage. The Hedychium for the mostly fragrant flowers that they have. The spiral and pinecone ginger just for their unusualness. Gosh I love them all. It would be hard for me to pick just one as each one has wonderful qualities.

bad ginger junkie here, globbas are my favorites by far. I can't have enough!
I love the smell but I know nothing about them. I have three now and I am just waiting for them to bloom. All I can think of is the one we used to collect in Hawaii when we were having luaus. By the time we got it home we were intoxicated from the fragrance. Wonderful.

The only ones blooming for me so far is the cordata and the hedychiums. Oh, and the costus.
