It is just starting to darken up, Monika. Not all the way yet. I must have 40 blooms on her. Snuck up on me.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Poor KEll, you hardly have any blooms.
It sure looks pretty!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Kell ,you're so deprived.......

Looks great
is that a mandi?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

It snuck up on her????? I don't think so. She probably had it hidden with all the Crepe Myrtle's and Miniature Roses she has been buying lately. LOL....

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

40 flowers!!!! I have to install california weather in my Greenhouse.

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

I can't wait until my L'Amour blooms. It had one bud when I got it from Tracey, but the bloom only lasted one day. I think it will do much better next time it blooms.

Adrian, MI(Zone 5b)

OMG it's beautiful!!

Brundidge, AL(Zone 8b)

You have the prettiest yard.....

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

She is so lovely and has so many blooms. Just beautiful!! So few blooms here because of the weeks of rain and clouds. You certainly have the ideal weather conditions because your brugs seem to love it

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Fabulous!! Kell!
Must be the hundreds of bags of steer do you've been stuffing in the Volvo.
Once again, you're showing us up with your blooms and pics.

Actually, this is one that I never repotted in spring so the soil was not refreshed. It had pods on it and I did not want to chance them dropping. Now I am watering it every 2 days. By August it will be daily!

I did mix steer manure in my repotted ones this year. I did 1 cu ft steer manure to 2 of soil. So far I am not sure I see much difference.

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

How do you mix your soil Kell? I recently acquired a (very used) cement mixer and it is great!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Linda. What a kick. LOL!! So funny! And a great idea. I do it the old fashion way, by hand. I pour some of each in my big wagon and reach with my arms going down as far as I can and I mix it! One of my least favorite jobs!

Though when all mixed, I love the smell and touch of the dirt. For some reason the bagged steer manure does not reek anymore. I remember when you would top dreess your yard and the smell would be there for days.

It is electric, does a great job. I had to replace the small bucket underneath with a tub, as most of my first load ended up on the floor. I'm still perfecting my technique.

What a great idea. I use a wheelbarrow and a shovel. Sure gets tiring.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Mine isn't electric but it's a cement mixer for those little walks, patios, etc. It is a big, tall plastic bucket, with top, and has little 'flaps' on the inside, you put your dirt in, roll it around the yard, then pour into your mixed dirt in what ever container you like. It works great for soil, but, Linda, I'd love to have your electric one to make my cement/quikcrete walks and pads under water hoses, etc.

Marshfield, MO(Zone 6a)
