I was wondering how many of us here take calcium. I began taking calcium religiously 3 times a day 2 years ago. I wasn't sure whether it would make a big difference - but my doctor told me that I would be a happier 80 year old (I was 51 at the time), if I did and that it was important to take calcium several times throughout the day.
When I had my teeth cleaned a couple of weeks ago - they took bone loss measurements and said that over the last 2 years I have not incurred any additional bone loss and have actually improved bone density around several of my teeth - it has to be the calcium I guess.
I see so many bent over little old ladies - I am hoping not to be one of them.
Do you all take calcium on a regular basis?
