Two Questions about Thunderbird

I couldn't seem to find these in the extensions, etc. First, is it possible to combine more than one email address? It's really annoying to have to toggle between my two constantly, checking to see if I have mail. Secondly, when I use "reply" the cursor goes to the very bottom of the page. Any way to have it start at the top? Thanks
