So, where will your headquarters be now? You will really miss those big greenhouses, won't you?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Those are beautiful trees Eclipse.
It's so sad that you are not going to have the gardens and greenhouses to work in. You've been there a long time haven't you?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I have seeds...will they grow and bloom in one season?

Tulsa, OK(Zone 6b)

Grrrrrrr, that's horrible. My favorite local greenhouse has the same problem with the highway people. The new onramp will go right through the middle of the greenhouse. They have until November to clear out, then will have to start paying rent to the city, for land they owned for years! We've been going to this nursery forever, I clearly remember helping pick out the ponderosa lemon tree that we gave my grandmother when I was a child.

Where are you going to go? Will you be able to move all of the plants?

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Heres whats up...I have been there 8 years,I will miss my greenhouses..but we are moving some plants to new growing houses nearby(about 1/4 mile away).I will still plant and care for the tropical beds and planters in Downtown area but won't have access to the giant trees anymore.
Brugie usually they take two years to bloom from seed here. This tree is about 12 feet tall.
I will be based out of a park on the East side of town...lots of skeeters there!!! EEEK! LOL

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Well shoot. I guess I'll give my seeds to someone who can use them. I hate skeeters, but they can't be as bad as the chiggers are right now. I'm totally chewed up.

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

Hey- if you really wanna give those seeds away- I'd love to have a couple. SASE? Trade? Let me know.

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

I'd take a couple for SASE too if your being generous. :-)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I really love this one. I checked out the database and it seems it does OK in my zone and even lower.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I'm sorry you guys. I was talking to my friend Toni from Huntington Beach, CA last night and I told her she could have them. I will tell her, that if she gets blooms, to save seeds for you all. Sorry.......

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

Beats Brugie! BAD WOMAN!!! LOL
No problem. :-D Thanks for the thought though.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I really am sorry. I had no idea that anyone would even want the seeds and I knew that Toni could grow them out there. Someone sent them to me and I was going to grow them myself until I read two years to bloom. I have way to much in my house in the winter the way it is. LOL!

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

I have a couple of these also: Caesalpinia pulcherrima, Caesalpinia gillesii, and Caesalpinia mexicana. One of my pulcherrima is around ten feet tall. I've never seen seeds on mine, but I grew some of my C. mexicana plants from seeds I collected.
