new double

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

She is finally open! The flower is large! I had to bring her back into the Greenhouse because of the cold in the past days.

Your trunk is so thick for such a short plant. I love the thick corolla tube. My kind of flower, Monika!

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

She is gorgeous Monika!! A beautiful white, how is her scent?

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

I didnt want to overwinter the huge seedling. I cut the Y off last fall and let it root during the winter.

Crestview, FL(Zone 7b)

I like that it dropped its skirt.. very pretty.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

It has a strong fragrance.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Looks wonderful!!! Love those doubles!

Victoria, BC(Zone 8b)

Lovely

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

I love it, I love white, I love doubles and I love the thick trunk. Monika, it seems that I have noticed that many of your brugs appear to 'mature' early and produce longer (re the 7 year brug with the huge trunk). Is that my imagination?? If it's not, might it must be your zone - like they know they don't have too long as other zones, so they rush it up, ya think??

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Beautiful Monika!

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Beautiful!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Oh Boy!! That is a pretty one. Looks kind of cute sitting in that pot. Would make a good one for my deck.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Another winner! :-)

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Beautiful Monika. I like it!!

Very pretty Monika. I love the way her skirt falls. Have you named her yet?

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Very well formed bloom. I love it

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

It is lovely Monika. Looks like a strong flower and you know how I like a strong fragrance.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

SOOOOOOO pretty......

(Nadine) Devers, TX(Zone 9b)

Beautiful!!! Her skirt reminds of a ballerina twirling around and around...MMM..Ballerina is a nice name too..But of course I don't know all the names to these brugs yet..

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

Quite beautiful...love the way the dropped shirt looks! So pretty! Yes, kind of like a Ballerina ! Like in Swan Lake...pretty and white!

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

Moodene, you hit the description on the head. Monica, I swear (not really) that you grow the most beautiful angel trumpets (that name fits this one better than brug). LOL

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

It is a very nice name but already taken. Mme Blin named one of her hybrids Ballerina.

Woodville, TX(Zone 8a)

So pretty, I really like it! Jenny

(Nadine) Devers, TX(Zone 9b)

Well shoot...but Swan Lake is a good name too..LOL...

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

She's beautiful, Monika.

Needville, TX(Zone 9a)

Another beauty Monika! I'm lovin' it....

Cove, AR

Finally, someone uses the word 'angel trumpets'. I am new to Dg and enjoying all the threads, but had ever only called my - only 2- flowers angel trumpets and thought it must be taboo to call them that.

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

Welcome to DG Joyce...actually you can call them anything you'd llike...I just call them beautiful !!! Actually Angel Trumpet is a really beautiful name, I think!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Hi Joyce. Welcome to the brug forum. For me, writing brug is much faster than typing out angel trumpet. LOL! Like Margie says...you can call them whatever you like as long as it isn't datura. LOL!

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

I hope you keep this one.

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Very pretty Monika. I never tire of the whites.

Whitewater, WI

Absolutely gorgeous, Monika :)

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

She's a beauty Monika and I'm not that big a fan of whites!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Lilypon, you just haven't seen the right whites then. The fancy ones are so white they almost glow in the dark. Slight exaggeration but they really show up in the evening when they are scented. Long tendrils and they smell so good.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Maybe I should go find Jeanne's picture of Danielle. I love that one.
