I didnt want to overwinter the huge seedling. I cut the Y off last fall and let it root during the winter.

I love it, I love white, I love doubles and I love the thick trunk. Monika, it seems that I have noticed that many of your brugs appear to 'mature' early and produce longer (re the 7 year brug with the huge trunk). Is that my imagination?? If it's not, might it must be your zone - like they know they don't have too long as other zones, so they rush it up, ya think??

Finally, someone uses the word 'angel trumpets'. I am new to Dg and enjoying all the threads, but had ever only called my - only 2- flowers angel trumpets and thought it must be taboo to call them that.
Welcome to DG Joyce...actually you can call them anything you'd llike...I just call them beautiful !!! Actually Angel Trumpet is a really beautiful name, I think!!
Hi Joyce. Welcome to the brug forum. For me, writing brug is much faster than typing out angel trumpet. LOL! Like Margie says...you can call them whatever you like as long as it isn't datura. LOL!

Lilypon, you just haven't seen the right whites then. The fancy ones are so white they almost glow in the dark. Slight exaggeration but they really show up in the evening when they are scented. Long tendrils and they smell so good.
Maybe I should go find Jeanne's picture of Danielle. I love that one.
