Thanks "eyes" for making these available in your co-op, they are really starting to take off, and are great companions in the hosta seedling garden!

I have mine planted with hosta and astible. They are just now starting to take off.

I think it is too cool here for mine to grow at all. None are even coming up!

Where is "here"?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

It has been pretty cool here this summer so far, but mine are starting to put out leaves now. I find a lot of them puttin up a seed head too, but I just cut it off and hope for the best. Nice plants for shady gardens.

Brugie...tell me why you cut off the seed head? I'm new to caladiums. Is it because they will do better without having to make seeds?

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

Brinda, the flowers are nonconsequential.........they just impede the growth of new offshoots by using the plant's energy. Look's great, John, was wondering if you were going to go the hosta or the canna route with them.
